Web writing is very different than writing for a book or magazine. When writing for the web, it is important to write in more plain language than you would otherwise. A healthy serving on images to break up the text is important too so that your readers won't experience fatigue and leave your article to do something else.
Social media is a significant piece of any successful marketing strategy because seeking out businesses on their social platforms has become a big part of the buying process. It is a fast and easy way to get a snapshot of the company they are considering doing business with and a lot can be learned about a company's brand by how they manage their social media

This was the first blog that I wrote for Palmer Gas & Oil. It is about what propane gas is, it's benefits, and the ways it is environmentally friendly. This was designed as a simple educational piece for homeowners who use propane, or are considering transitioning away from oil for heat. I wrote all of their blogs from February 2025- October 2025.

Depending on the nature of your business, some platforms are more advantageous than others. For example, handmade goods do well on platforms like Pinterest, Instagram, and Facebook, while a B2B technology company may find their customers on LinkedIn, Twitter, or YouTube.
